About the academy
Founded in 1977 as the Civil Aviation College of the Gulf States and renamed Qatar Aeronautical Academy by Amiri Decree in 2019, QAA is a QCAA-approved training organisation on a purpose-built campus in Ras Abu Aboud, Doha. It delivers approved courses for pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers, air traffic controllers, meteorologists and airport operations/security staff.
